WAYMON BOONE was born in NYC and a Hollywood transplant. The son of a Disco singer, Waymon first came roaring on the public scene as the lead singer/guitarist of a alt/rock band. He released albums on Sony Records and toured the globe with stops on

The Tonight Show and Late Show along the way.

Later Waymon became a full time director and writer, building his own film studio GENETIC CODE PICTURES. He then wrote and directed his first feature The Devil's In the Details starring Ray Liotta (Goodfellas, Hannibal) which he also sold at Cannes. Waymon then traveled the world, directing the highly successful documentary The Abundance Factor, filming some of the top entrepreneurs in the business. Waymon directed a family drama he co-wrote called My Daddy is in Heaven starring Corbin Bernson (The Punisher, Psych) and Jenn Gotzon (God is not dead, Frost Nixon).

He traveled the globe again for the Abunance Factor sequel. Then directing the TV Series Falling For Angels.

Directing Sunrise in Heaven, another feature film with actors Corbin Bernsen and Dee Wallace (Supernatural, ET)

Later he saw the release of a film he Directed and co-wrote. A horror/thriller, Apparition, starring Kevin Pollak (The Usual Suspects, Marvelous Ms Maisel) and Mena Suvari (American Beauty, American Pie)

Waymon released a new television series on Amazon Prime which was renewed for season 2 and is also in preproduction for a new feature film to shoot this summer!

Here is where you will learn all of its truth. We are taking your on-camera experience to a whole other level.

You will be learning to explore and master your techniques by working on a massive 16 x 9 foot movie screen

and two live cameras!

No other acting classes in Los Angeles have this incredible feature. Take the leap.

How we do things...

Two live cameras. Either single shot or split screen.
Projected on a 16x9 foot movie screen. With a high tech audio system for real time playback.

Every class is shot on two live cameras!

All building up to an original Short Film script that is shot in the final week. Along with Headshots!

What Should I Expect?

YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BRING YOUR OWN MONOLOGUE TO PERFORM

ONLY FOR THE FIRST CLASS!

A half page or less. Choose something age appropriate and that also speaks to you.
Something you believe you could've been cast in! You will get to work one-on-one with your Director to find the nuances, subtext and the truth in your performance.

We highly recommend that you stay away from any blockbuster or iconic scenes!

There are also plenty of places online to download monologues free of charge that suit you.

Put in the work.

Then the next 7 weeks will follow our personalized curriculum as you see yourself come to life on the big screen and two live cameras. Just like on set, actors are also given small lavalier microphones to wear on your lapels to record your audio.

We will provide all of the script content for you. You will then start being paired up with fellow actors to explore your emotional range and connection to the characters while learning to listen along with every technique under the sun to get you there!

By week 6 (for the Shorts class only) an original Short Film script is introduced and rehearsed and workshopped to the final class where you will be on set filming the movie! Cameras/Lights/Crew/Makeup/Action! After that scheduling time for professional headshots!
